During the trip your accommodation will be in a 3 star hotel in Alpe d’Huez. This enables you to take advantage of the beneficial high altitude environment.
Thanks to our shuttle service you will return every evening to the same hotel where a sauna, Jacuzzi and a swimming pool are waiting for you. A secure place is also available for your bikes.
Also, the height the well-being, recuperation massages are arranged for you during the week.
You’ll always be guided by a local cycling sports specialist who speaks English and French. He’ll introduce you to his region, well-known for its mythical ascents and he’ll be your technical adviser too.
On each stage, the coach ensures supplying (drinks, energy products and lunch packs) and also offers mechanical assistance.

ITINERARY AND TRIP SCHEDULE
Day 1/ Arrival at l’Alpe d’Huez
Arrival at the hotel thanks to our transfer service, welcome meeting and a presentation of the course. Technical assistance for your bike assembly.
Day 2/ Alpe d’Huez – Valloire : 118 km
Vertical ascent height : 1000 meters
All the way to the gates of the « Ecrins national park » you will discover the ambience of our mountains. From the valley we will find the most beautiful summits of the Ecrins. Arriving at “La Bérarde”, a typical and charming Oisans village, uniquely accessible during the “estivale” period.
Day 3/ L’Alpe d’huez « la Mythique »
Vertical ascent height: 1100 meters
21 bends of painted road, an ascent once finished in a record time of 37 minutes and 35 seconds. Your experience of the most famous mountain climb of the Tour de France.
Day 4 / Les 2 alpes
Vertical ascent height: 1000 meters
A beautiful climb without particular difficulty which will give you the opportunity to take in the amazing scenery. Arriving in les 2 Alpes, a neighbouring ski and mountain bike resort.
Day 5 / Croix de fer, Glandon
Vertical ascent height: 1550 meters (Croix de fer) and 50 meters (Glandon)
First of all you endure a long climb on a mountain side ascent followed by a steep arrival into the mineral landscape. Your arrival at the « Croix de Fer » is not the end of this trip: we take advantage of the « col du Glandon » on our return journey.
Day 6/ Le Col du Galibier
Vertical ascent height: 1920 meters
A double climb to reach the giant alpine summit of the Galibier. First, the regular ascent to the Lautaret (2058 meters), then the climb which takes us to the lunar landscape of the col du Galibier (2643 meters).
Day 7/ Les balcons suspendus de l’Oisans
Vertical ascent height: 1330 meters
To begin, a superb passage on a suspended route with an incredible panoramic view of the six valleys of the Oisans, followed by a flat section bringing us discretely back to the famous Alpe d’Huez climb through Villard Reculas. Discover Alpe through the tranquillity of the singing birds!
